Kaiju
Visuals for a dance show
Kaiju is a contemporary hip-hop dance show, by Shonen, a french dance company.
The piece is about our relationship to popular culture and how the images and news we live amongst transform our inner selves.
Through his performance, the dancer progressively reveals the popular icons, the fears and forces inhabiting him.
I worked on this project as a graphic/motion designer. In collaboration with Shonen's choregrapher Eric Minh Cuong Castaing, I designed and animated most of the visual content projected on stage.
